Galbraith Builders is a full service design-build firm located in Durango, Colorado, building homes throughout La Plata County and neighboring counties. Since 1990 we have been providing complete design and turn-key construction of high quality custom homes in Southwest Colorado. As the leading design/builder in Durango, we have over 54 new custom homes to our credit. We also are available for remodels and additions. The majority of our projects are design/build of one-of-a-kind custom homes, however we have enjoyed collaborations with Architects, both local and from out-of -state.
The design concept, design development, and all architectural working drawings are produced in-house. We enjoy working as a design-builder, because many years of experience have shown this method to be advantageous for our clients. It offers a very direct and timely means to integrate design and construction (see explanation of Design / Build Process below). We do welcome projects that have been designed by others and have built homes designed by local and out-of-state architects and designers.
